If you have watched Fullmetal Alchemist Brotherhood, the non-Brotherhood version, and even that thing they call a live action adaptation (‘pretty disappointed’ is a very light way to describe it), you may have wanted to try a bit of alchemy yourself. Practicing alchemy in real life may not necessarily be on the common plane of understanding yet (maybe there are people who practice it, who knows?); but Little Alchemy 2 may have just made it a bit more accessible.
Little Alchemy 2 by Recloak is a simple yet awe-inspiring app that mixes logic, puns, and incredible wit in a single game. The goal of the game is simple: fill the encyclopedia with things by combining other things. You don’t have to worry about the Law of Equivalent Exchange here, just combine it and don’t think about the grams and such. Simple as it may sound, the challenge is in finding the righy combinations because 1) you are only given a few elements at the beginning, 2) not all combinations are valid, and 3) you would have to find all the possible combinations that will make an item and would require that item. In short, I tried to cheat by searching the net for a cheatsheet for this game; but I couldn’t find any.
I’m here to fill in that gap, and now we find ourselves in this post, or at least bring you along for the ride. I will try to complete this and make Edward and Alphonse proud.
Here we go!
